Architectural Design, Cost and Construction Management
AMI Healthcare™ and its partners work with experiences Architects in healthcare design that focus on the design of modern, state of the art medical facilities which meet Joint Commission Accreditation standards (JCI). We provide clients with cost modeling, scheduling of construction projects and value engineering as early as possible in the design process to enable the evaluation of building systems, project quality and management of the scope of the project. We manage the entire construction process and always focus on the entire project including the operation and management of the hospital upon completion of the construction.
By managing both Architect and Construction Contractors we are able to review the implementation, make changes as needed and in the interest of our client and optimize the construction phase. AMI Healthcare provides Hospital Operations Management for small, medium and large hospital facilities. Hospital Management requires long term planning and typical operations contracts are made for not less than five years. AMI Healthcare typically provides a Chief Medical Officer and a Chief Clinical Officer to oversee the affairs of medical and nursing staff. We establish guidelines for minimum qualification criteria for the hiring process of physicians, nurses and allied health in accordance with local government criteria or if these are not present apply standards that are typical for hiring such staff in the United States.

Operation of healthcare projects requires a functioning system of management to keep facilities at the highest level of operation and to avoid down time. Experienced Engineers in electrical and mechanical and building engineering will ensure that the hospital is well maintained including all of its support facilities. We provide preventive, corrective, predictive and reliability-centered maintenance which improves operational efficiency, safety, asset-life an compliance with regulatory agencies. Our management team will also look to reduce the carbon footprint for the facility and improve the environmental impact.
Accreditation
AMI Healthcare is operating its facilities under the standards of the Joint Commission International, formerly known as JCAHO, which evaluates healthcare organizations and awards accreditation standards. We aim to take hospitals under management of AMI Healthcare to maintain or achieve JCI accreditation standard.
